Hurray!

Wow 2 consecutive intense days in a row! After losing my debit card and breaking my belt I think its almost odd that have such an amazing day afterwards.

I am so excited to start my business and get things rolling! And I have been for the last week or so.

I love the idea of being financially independent and being in more control of my life. I do enjoy my job very much but sometimes I find going to work to actually be very unproductive when considering my future.

The great thing about owning a business is that every bit of time you put into it is more like an investment then a trade for money. Your growing this separate entity as oppose to trading your time for money. On top of that you have so much more control and freedom that it makes making money more of an adventure.

Today I'm continuing to write content for my web site. I hoping to have things good to go soon!

Balancing Act

There are 5 main focuses in my life. My physical health, social life, "spiritual" health, financial health, and overall happiness. All my life I've tried to excel in every one of these focuses, and it's certainly hard.

When I focus on one thing I do less as well with the other, vice versa.

Yesterday I started reading about creating templates for the Joomla! content management system. Joomla! is such a powerful tool, and I can honestly say I can't believe I made it this far without it. Once I become proficient at creating Joomla! templates I'll be ready to produce web sites with it professionally. It saves so much time and makes manipulating content easy.

I also turned my computer into a local host with XXAMP, which allows my to emulate a server on my home machine by using Apache, PHP, and MySQL. So far this has saved me a ton of time not uploading to a server. On top of that, there are no permissions =D

A Craving For Fulfillment

It seems to happen every once in awhile. I'll all of the sudden want to be as productive as possible and get as many things possible done.

It's almost the end of the school semester, so I'm passing in the last of my homework and getting ready for Christmas break.

I'd like to finish the BizzyBud Web Design web site today so I have a platform in which I can offer design. I decided to offer to design and develop a few web sites for free to build my portfolio. If you're interested, let me know!

I'm planning on getting an depth look at designing Joomla! templates today.

Gym Life

I've been going to the gym for about 8 months now and I'm not only starting to see the results I've been looking for but I'm also really starting to understand how I'm getting those results.

The best part about the gym for me is the feeling I get during and after. I honestly feel like I can't start my day not going to the gym.

On top of that, I started going to the gym with a co-worker who really knows what he's doing, and the proof is in the pudding.

I have a lot of things happening in my life at the moment, from finishing up this semester of school, getting a business started and looking at houses.

I'm still living at my parents at the moment and can only imagine what it would be like to live on my own. I'm looking for a comfortable nice place that I can live at when I'm older and can afford now. We'll see how things go!

A New Life

A lot has happened in a short period of time. The biggest change in the last month would probably have to be my new job. I'm no longer working on 3rd shift doing technical support and officially doing data entry for phones.

The most dramatic change that has come from this would most likely be the way I feel on a daily basis; and by that I mean I feel SOO much better. I'm so much more productive and generally just happier.
